All audio works re-mastered by John Mills-Cockell for this edition and presented in full-color digipak sleeves.
Also including a booklet with two texts by Michael Hayden and John Mills-Cockell situating Intersystems in the Contemporary Art and Music contexts. A text by Nick Storring about Blake Parker and analyzing the 3 original records is also included as well as the complete chronology of Intersystems Presentations. 23 full-page images illustrating the dense evolution of this short-lived and essential mixed-media collective complete the 56-page booklet.

Intersystems, un groupe multimédia canadien né en 1966 avec le compositeur John Mills-Cockell, le sculpteur de lumières Michael Hayden, le poète Blake Parker et l’architecte Dirk Zander. Une expérience de la musique électronique et de la voix processée dans un environnement lumineux et sculptural.
Trois disques sont sortis entre 1967 et 1968.

Une continuité évidente dans un environnement électronique tantôt proche d’un continuum et très souvent saccadé et haché avec une voix malsaine racontant des histoires pour adulte.
Le rapport texte et musique est simple mais super efficace et crée dans le volume, la transformation vocale, le panoramique et les filtrages une véritable expérience psychédélique que peut-être un Philip K. Dick n’aurait pas rejeter.
Musicalement c’est dépouillé, unique, vraiment malsain et ça évoque certains morceaux de Throbbing Gristle, le “Indeterminacy” de Cage et Tudor, le cut up de Burroughs, la violence de Whitehouse…
