Composer, performer, multi-instrumentalist, born in Chicago in 1969, Jim O’ Rourke is a veritable chameleon, working at the frontiers of very diverse musical genres.
Une rencontre fine et délicate de trames électroniques et de flux instrumentaux transposés, avec des enregistrements de terrain sans jamais réellement savoir qui est quoi. Et tout cela fonctionne comme un kaléidoscope lent et scintillant aux reflets multiples et trompeurs dans un art du subterfuge hautement mené.
