Graham Lambkin et Taku Unami, deux artistes habitués du label et qui toujours questionnent la notion d’écoute désintégrant les frontières entre intimité et musique.
Ce 2 CD consiste en un matériau sonore réalisé à deux à Poughkeepsie, Etat de New York, Etats-Unis en 2015, puis chacun en a assemblé et mixé un des deux disques.
Un flux sonore d’un quotidien mais loin en même temps d’une simple captation donc une transformation, principalement dans le mixage, dans l’accumulation et le collage des sources. Des matières le plus souvent assez banales, ce qui souligne que c’est autre chose qu’il nous est demandé d’écouter !
Ni musique, ni instrument. Le micro serait ici plus proche d’un stylo ou d’un appareil photo. Et notre écoute fera musique si elle le décide.
