205 mix on the a-side brings us 18 minutes of hissy, textural sound in dissolution, ranging from ryhthm to noise. The b-side has the 20 original loops López constructed out of old vintage 78s so if you buy 20 copies of this 10” you might be able to recreate the track… Clear vinyl in clear plastic sleeve, with 20 locked grooves for DJs on B-side. Limited to 300 copies.” Attention: it’s delivered in a white inner sleeve for protection reasons during transport. Please throw it away and put the record itself in the clear plastic sleeve.
Francisco López explore ici les fins de sillon de vieux 78 tours pour donner une nouvelle vie à ses structures sonores non-intentionnelles. Une face avec un mix d’environ 18 minutes, une autre avec 20 boucles, 20 sillons fermés, la source de la face précédente. C’est une mise en abime du support vinyl statique, grincheuse et abrasive. Autant à écouter qu’à offrir à un DJ. Réalisé en 2006-2007 et sorti en aout 2011. Édition de 300 exemplaires.
