Cyprien and Bertrand have been playing together for several years. Their music, improvised, sober and tenuous, invites the listener to immerse himself in a state of intense listening. The materials of the viola and the saxophone cross, criss-cross, detach, move away and come closer as in a game of chase where each movement transforms the landscape, where each light variation modifies the environment in an imperceptible way.
Cyprien et Bertrand jouent ensemble depuis plusieurs années. Leur musique, improvisée, sobre et ténue, invite l’auditeur à se plonger dans un état d’écoute intense. Les matières de l’alto et du saxophone se croisent, s’entrecroisent, se détachent, s’éloignent et se rapprochent comme dans un jeu de piste où chaque mouvement transforme le paysage, où chaque variation modifie l’environnement de manière imperceptible.
