Cassandra Miller (1976) s’intéresse à des systèmes de notation ouverts où la collaboration avec l’interprète s’effectue dans un échange productif. Elle n’hésite pas non plus à citer et détourner des musiques pré-existantes comme dans le “Duet for Cello and Orchestra”. Et ce n’est pas pour rien que le compositeur Christian Wolff défend son travail.
