This duo, Andrzej Karalow and Jérôme Noetinger, is the brainchild of Grzegorz Paluch, who had the idea of bringing together the piano, the subtle phrasing and harmonic interplay of the former with the magnetic and electronic tentacles of the latter. The piano metamorphoses in the cogs of the tape recorder, multiplying and playing with its distorted mirror. It’s a journey through imaginary landscapes haunted by a ghostly presence.

Andrzej Karałow (b. 1991) is a Polish pianist, composer and improvising artist, laureate of many national and international piano and composition competitions. Although classical music is the main field of his activity, he is also open to experiments in electronic and alternative genre, combining techniques and inspirations from various fields of art into his own, unique musical language.
Jérôme Noetinger (b. 1966) is a composer, improviser and sound artist. Member of Cellule d’Intervention Metamkine, Le Un, Les Sirènes… Ex-director of Metamkine distribution catalog. Ex-member of the editorial committee of the quarterly journal Revue & Corrigée.
Ce duo, Andrzej Karalow et Jérôme Noetinger, est né de l’idée de Grzegorz Paluch de réunir le piano, le phrasé subtil et le jeu harmonique du premier avec les tentacules magnétiques et électroniques du second. Le piano se métamorphose dans les rouages du magnétophone, se multiplie et joue avec son miroir déformé. C’est un voyage à travers des paysages imaginaires hantés par une présence fantomatique.
